GARNER, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Garner Police Department has a new police station, just in time for the new year.
Thursday morning, town and police officials were on hand for a ribbon cutting ceremony at the new station on 7th Avenue.
The $4.5 million, 20,000 square foot building brings the entire Garner police force under one roof.
The new police station is part of the $35 million bond program approved by Garner voters in March 2013.
