Gas leak closes Morrisville Parkway

MORRISVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- A gas leak shut down Morrisville Parkway at Waltons Creek Road in Morrisville on Wednesday afternoon.

Crews worked for more than two hours to repair the leak, which was caused by utility work in the area.

No evacuations were ordered.

The road reopened around 6:30 p.m.
