NC hits new highest-recorded average gas price

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- A new week is starting with another record when it comes to gas prices in North Carolina.

The state average for regular unleaded gas is $4.52.

That's the same average for a gallon of a regular gas in Durham.

Fayetteville is two cents cheaper at $4.50.

Meanwhile Raleigh has the highest average at $4.53.
