Six charged in murder of Goldsboro woman

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WTVD) -- Police in Goldsboro say they have six suspects in the murder of a 21-year-old woman Oct. 31.

Shanekqua Adrianna Thompson was found shot to death inside a minivan after it crashed into a wooded area near Sixth Street and Humphrey Street just after 3 a.m.

Police said Friday that they learned Thompson was shot during a car chase involving several cars. It was determined that the suspects were from Kinston and had an ongoing dispute with a group of people from Goldsboro.

Police have three people in custody.

Cequan Phillips, 22, Rahmel Phillips, 24, Joshua Collins, 24, and Anthony Graham, 30, were all arrested and charged with murder.

Police are still searching for Alquan Hill, 23, and Davine Carr, 20.
