One charged in Goldsboro double shooting

GOLDSBORO, NC (WTVD) -- The Goldsboro Police Department says it has charged a 24-year-old in a double shooting in the parking lot of an adult club early Monday morning.

Officers were called to Sid's Showgirls on N. William St. just before 2 a.m.

Walter Sutton and Kelvin Lance were both taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds.

After an investigation, Joshua Hassaan Brooks, of Clayton, was arrested by police in Raleigh. Bond was set at a half million dollars.

Brooks also had outstanding warrants for failure to appear on a DWI charge, attempted safe cracking, and a probation violation.
