Man shot to death in Harnett County

LILLINGTON, NC (WTVD) -- Deputies in Harnett County are investigating two shootings about half a mile apart that killed one person and injured another.

The first shooting happened just after 7:40 p.m. Thursday in the 100 block of Lorane Lane in Lillington.

When authorities arrived, they found 29-year-old Larry Jr. Moore injured. He was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in unknown condition.

Five minutes later, authorities were called about a second shooting at 7288 NC Highway 27 W. in Lillington.

Donald Ray Mclean, 32, was declared dead at the scene.
