Man charged in fatal Goldsboro hit and run

GOLDSBORO, NC (WTVD) -- The Goldsboro Police Department says it has found the driver that hit and killed a pedestrian Saturday night.

Investigators said 39-year-old Windom Levi Elliott of Show Low, Arizona was hit along a service road close to US Hwy 70 E around 11:30 p.m. He died at the scene.

Police said the pickup truck that hit him - a Ford F-150 - fled the area. Now, police have arrested Larry Donnell Miller of Goldsboro. He's charged with felony hit and run, misdemeanor death by motor vehicle, and misdemeanor failure to give aid to an injured person.

Bond was set at $35,000.
