WAKE FOREST, NC (WTVD) -- The Wake Forest Police Department needs help identifying and finding the driver of a van that hit a Wake Forest High School student Monday morning.
Police say the mirror of the van hit the 14-year-old boy around 7 a.m. in the 400 block of Stadium Drive.
The black or dark-colored van stopped for a moment, and then drove away.
The teen suffered several broken bones.
The driver's side mirror of the van broke off. Investigators say it likely belongs to a Chevrolet Express passenger van made between 2003 and 2012.
