Hoke County gunshot victim drives himself to hospital

HOKE COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Authorities said a man who was shot in the chest in Hoke County drove himself to the hospital, and he was going as fast as 100 mph.

Investigators in Hoke County said the victim was shot in the 700 block of Rockfish Road early Sunday morning.

Authorities told ABC11 the victim sped to the hospital after the shooting. He is now said to be in stable condition.

There's been no word on a possible suspect.
