Officials at Raleigh-Durham International Airport are asking passengers to keep their new hoverboards at home, citing safety concerns for others in the terminals.
Mindy Hamlin with RDU said they are simply asking people to avoid riding them while they are at the airport.
"It's a popular item, and we some riding them in the terminals but it's not an overwhelming issue," Hamlin added.
If you have any questions about taking the boards on your flight, please call the individual airline.
