Crash involving 18-wheelers blocks I-95 in Johnston County

JOHNSTON COUNTY (WTVD) -- Southbound lanes of Interstate 95 were closed near exit 93 in Johnston County Monday morning due to an accident involving two tractor trailers.

It happened between Brogden Road and US-701 near Smithfield.

Images from Chopper11 HD showed traffic driving along the shoulder of the two-lane roadway to get by the wreckage.

It is unclear how the accident happened and if anyone was injured.
