CARY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Raleigh police are investigating a serious crash.
It happened just after 6:30 p.m. on Interstate 40 westbound near U.S. Highway 1.
A tractor-trailer and car collided, which caused the car to overturn.
The force of the impact sheared off the driver's side of the car.
Police told ABC11 that at least one person was taken to the hospital.
Three lanes of I-40 were blocked while police cleared the scene.
Police say the person taken to the hospital suffered non-life threatening injuries.
There's no word yet on whether charges will be filed.
