Move over, Lebron. JP Gibson is winning the hearts of basketball fans everywhere.
The 5-year-old, who was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in 2012, got to put on a Utah Jazz jersey and join the players on the court for their scrimmage game Monday.
His appearance included being called in as a sub, dribbling down the court and being lifted by center Rudy Gobert to score with a slam dunk while only seconds remained in the third quarter.
ESPN reports that the Jazz signed JP for a one-day contract as a free-agent guard.
The Jazz Twitter account welcomed JP to the team and tweeted support for him throughout the annual preseason intrasquad scrimmage at EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City. The announcers were clearly thrilled when the team's youngest superstar walked out onto the court.

JP's magical night on the court was part of the "Anything Can Be" project. Created by photographer Jon Diaz, the project makes dreams come true for childhood cancer patients and then turns them into storybooks.
And even though he only went up to the other players' waists, JP was clearly right at home.
