Car crashes after gunfire with another vehicle in Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Police said people in two vehicles exchanged gunfire Sunday afternoon while driving on Morgan Street in downtown Durham.

One of the vehicles crashed and the driver and everyone inside fled the scene. The second vehicle also drove away.

Police said no one was shot and no one was injured.

One of the vehicles had bullet holes in the rear window. There were no reports of damage to other property.

No word yet on any suspects.
