Arevalo did not own a car, family members said.

Hoke County investigators said Arevalo was last seen by her roommate Feb. 8. An investigation and a search of her residence revealed no signs of foul play.

Law officers found Arevalo and her son Thursday and determined that she left of her own accord.

Family members said Noah is asthmatic and autistic and needs medication. Arevalo also has a younger son, Ricky.

No other details were immediately available.
