Police: 7-year-old girl dies after shooting in Salisbury

SALISBURY, NC (WTVD) -- A 7-year-old girl was killed early Sunday morning after a Salisbury home was sprayed with bullets, WSOC reports.

Police said the shooting happened around 4:20 a.m. on Harrel Street.

Officers found a 56-year-old who had been shot in the leg and a child who had died at the scene. The 56-year-old was taken to the hospital.

Police did not identify the victims.
