2 rushed to hospital after head-on crash near Lillington

LILLINGTON, North Carolina (WTVD) -- North Carolina State Highway Patrol is investigating a head-on crash near Lillington that sent two people to the hospital Sunday.

The crash happened on N.C. Highway 210 in Harnett County just after midnight. Crews on the scene said two vehicles in the southbound lanes of NC-210 collided.

Two people were rushed to the hospital. Their conditions have not yet been released.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
