DURHAM (WTVD) -- Five people were forced from a Durham home by fire early Saturday.
It happened just after 5:30 a.m. on Callaway Court.
When firefighters arrived they saw flames and heavy black smoke.
It only took about five minutes to get the fire under control, but it caused significant damage to both parts of the townhouse.
No injuries were reported. The Red Cross was helping.
Investigators said the fire was caused by unattended cooking.
