Authorities investigate shooting in Cameron

CAMERON, N.C. (WTVD) -- Harnett County deputies are investigating a shooting near a Food Lion grocery store.

It happened about 7:50 p.m. off of N.C. Highway 87 in Cameron.

An eyewitness said they heard a gunshot in the parking lot and then saw a van speeding off.

One person was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life threatening.
