Body found near Falls Lake

WAKE COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A death investigation is underway in Wake County.

Someone found a body near Falls Lake on a walking trail near Possum Track Road on Wednesday afternoon.

The sheriff's office said it doesn't appear foul play was involved.

There's no word yet on the person's name or the cause of death.
