Fort Bragg airman killed during training exercise on base

FORT BRAGG, N.C. (WTVD) -- A Fort Bragg airman died after being run over by a government vehicle during an Air Force training exercise on base at 10:45 a.m. Thursday.

Senior Airman Timothy J. Wright, 30, from Pensacola, Florida, was assigned to Pope's 43rd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron as an aeromedical evacuation technician.

Military officials said the incident is under investigation.
