Man stabbed in the back on Durham street

DURHAM (WTVD) -- A man was stabbed in the back in Durham on Friday evening.

It happened outside the Urban Ministries building on Liberty Street.

Our crew on the scene was told one man stabbed another man in the back. An ambulance took the unidentified victim to the hospital.

Police described the wound as "non-life threatening."

The suspect was handcuffed, face-down on the sidewalk with a large knife nearby.

Police have not released the suspect's name.
