A car goes airborne, a cow rescue in Texas, a water main break floods an Atlanta highway and a Hollywood landmark implosion is all part of ABC11 must-see videos.
AIRBORNE CAR
It was a high-flying scene from Montreal as a car went airborne and cleared a row of vehicles before crashing into a building.
Witnesses said the car came from a gas station, and was speeding when it hit a fence.
The impact caused it to fly about 30 feet through the air and slam into a garage door of an auto-repair shop.
Police said they believed the driver may have confused the pedals in his car, hitting the gas rather than braking.
Amazingly, the car missed hitting several exotic vehicles, including Porsches and Audis.
COW RESCUE
In Texas, the Trinity River seems like it'll keep rising until the cows come home, which is exactly what they did.
With 600 head of cattle stuck on a 40 acre island, dozens of cowboys and volunteers set out to save the herd.
First, they had to get the cattle off of the "island" and into the water. Then, they used air boats to help guide the frightened cows back onto land.
FLOODED HIGHWAY
It wasn't rain, but a broken water main that flooded a highway in downtown Atlanta Sunday.
The main broke about 1:30 p.m., shutting down the highway for about an hour.
LANDMARK IMPLOSION
Now to California, as explosives demolish the iconic grandstands at the Hollywood park Racetrack in Inglewood.
The controlled implosion took about 30 seconds and was followed by cheers from the crowd.
The racetrack was built in 1938.
Stars from Hollywood's golden era frequented the race track, often betting on horses.
It was eventually closed down after its final race in 2013. Destroying the grandstand makes way for a proposed $2 billion football stadium, entertainment and residential complex.
