Runner hit by car in Cary

CARY, NC -- Cary police say a woman out for a run Tuesday morning was hit by a car at the intersection of Kildaire Farm and Ten-Ten roads just before 7 a.m.

The runner was taken to WakeMed with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver, 86-year-old William Terrence Cullen of Apex, was charged with failure to stop.
