Stolen truck hit by train in Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- A stolen truck was hit by a train Sunday morning in Durham.

It happened around 7:30 a.m. on Hillsborough Road.

Police told ABC11 that someone stole the truck from nearby Talbert's Building Supply, when it broke down and got stuck on the train tracks.

No one was in the vehicle at the time of the accident and there is no suspect information available at this time.

Authorities said no one on the train was hurt.
