FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Fayetteville police said one suspect was arrested Sunday night in the fatal shooting of a 39-year-old man on May 6. The other suspect turned himself in Tuesday afternoon.

With assistance from the Laurinburg Police Department, Latoya Henderson was taken into custody without incident and charged in the murder of Travis Elijah Freeman.

Authorities were looking for James E. Jones, who faces the same charges as Henderson, but Jones turned himself in to detectives Tuesday.

He is being held without bond at the Cumberland County Detention Center.

On May 6 about 2:40 a.m., officers responded to a call about shots fired in the 4300 of Fox Grove Circle and found Freeman wounded in a parking lot. He was taken to the hospital where he later died.
