CHARLOTTE (WTVD) -- Panther's quarterback Cam Newton was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance last Sunday against the Packers, leading Carolina to yet another regular season win.

Newton has been named offensive player of the week four times, which is a franchise record, WSOC reports.

The Panthers remain one of three undefeated teams in the NFL, joining the Cincinnati Bengals and the New England Patriots.

The Panthers have won 12 regular season games in a row, which is the longest streak in the NFL.

Newton will lead the Panthers in their quest to remain undefeated in Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans. WSOC reported the Panthers are 0-3 all-time vs. the Titans and have not met since 2011.
