Forage Your Eats Over Pizza & Cocktails
Fair Game Beverage Company Wine and Spirits - Pittsboro- Piedmont Picnic Project and Fair Game Beverage Co. invite you to Wild Pizza, a night of foraging and feasting on your found ingredients!
"Piedmont Picnic Project and Fair Game Beverage Co. are teaming up for a dinner date you won't forget! Come out to Pittsboro, NC for Wild Pizza, a night of foraging and fine dining. Here's how it works: forage your own wild pizza toppings from the expansive wooded areas surrounding the Fair Game Distillery, sip cocktails made from Fair Game's wines and spirits, make customized, wood-fired wild pizzas with the toppings you foraged (plus wild pickles and sauces from Piedmont), and then eat your wild dinner creation and sip cocktails in the picturesque scenery or rural NC!
Tickets are on sale now for $35 in advance, or get them day-of for $45. Each ticket includes one cocktail and any additional drink purchases cost $6 each." $35+

Celebrate One Year of Haw River Ales
Haw River Farmhouse Ales - Saxapahaw- Haw River Farmhouse Ales in Saxapahaw is throwing a big ole party for their first birthday. Join in on the fun, eat some grub and wash it down with some unique, rural NC beer!
"Haw River Farmhouse Ales just turned one, so it's time to celebrate! Venture to Saxapahaw for an all-day celebration with food trucks, eclectic brews, beer-infused bites and more! If 25+ brews (and counting) on tap sounds like the right kinda party for you, don't miss it! Haw River's space is small, but they'll be setting up tasting tents all around and inside the Haw River Ballroom, so the lines will be short and your belly can stay full. In addition to the long list of brews, there will be many special, small batch releases as a result of their experimentations with the Bifurcation Project (taking their classic brews and turning them into something crazy), like a Double Chocolate Habanero St. Benedict's Breakfast Dubbel with Mexican chocolate & cocoa, blistered habanero peppers, split vanilla beans and some sweet Ceylon cinnamon, and the lovely Regent's Rye Tripel that's been aged in Benjamin Vineyards Chambourcin barrels.
What else is up? Apparently all of Saxapahaw is celebrating with them! The beloved General Store and Eddy Pub are creating a special menu for the occasion (many of which will use Haw River brews as a key ingredient), Left Bank Butchery is following suit and bringing along the sausage cart, Al's Burger Shack of Chapel Hill will be dishing out patties and Cup 22, the local coffee shop, will be pouring a unique coffee blend too! Food trucks will also be on site, details TBD. Trust us, you won't go hungry!"

Chow Down at Chatham Co. Fresh Catch
Pittsboro Fairgrounds - Pittsboro- NC Fresh Catch is going all out for a music and seafood festival. It's out at Pittsboro Fairgrounds, but we think an oyster roast, fish fry, seafood boil, beer and all-day music are worth the drive!
"NC Fresh Catch is bringing together all things good for a big bash out at the Pittsboro Fairgrounds. Expect an oyster roast, fish fry, seafood boil, smoked turkey and bbq from Chatham Barbecue, pizza from Bella Donna and desserts. If you thought that was a lot, check out the music line-up!
The schedule is packed with six local acts spanning genres from jazz to country to Americana. Top all of that off with craft beer and you've got yourself quite a day!
Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door. Food and drink sold separately (all plates are between $6-$12). The event is both indoor and outdoor, so the show will go on in the event of adverse weather conditions."
