Vehicle overturns on I-540 near US 70 in Wake County

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- All lanes have reopened on I-540 Eastbound near Exit 4 after a vehicle overturned and came to rest in the median Friday afternoon.

Two lanes were initially closed, but traffic flow has returned to normal.

Emergency workers including EMS and firefighters are still working the scene. The incident happened about 2:35 p.m.

At least two vehicles appear to be involved in the incident.

No word yet on injuries or other details.
