Police investigate shooting at Hope Mills shopping center

HOPE MILLS, North Carolina (WTVD) -- Authorities investigated a shooting Monday night in Cumberland County.

It happened outside Snap Fitness in the Millstone complex on Camden Road in Hope Mills.

An ABC11 crew at the scene said a person was shot in the back.

Police did not immediately have details on the victim's condition or whether there were any suspects.
