Man stabbed in Raleigh park

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A man was stabbed in Raleigh's Moore Square on Tuesday night.

Police said it happened in the park a little before 9:30 p.m.

The victim taken to WakeMed for treatment.

Police indicated there was a fight between two men before the stabbing was reported.

Cornelous Jammal Redmond, 22, is charged with aggravated assault.

Police said the men knew each other and the stabbing was not a random act.
