RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- With Halloween just around the corner, the ABC Price Tracker is finding ways to save as experts warn of potential price increases due to tariffs.
Experts say there are some easy ways to have more treats than tricks this Halloween.
As a reminder, the ABC Price Tracker is a great tool to help find ways to save on just about anything.
Families in the Triangle are already out shopping for decorations and candy.
Alex Garner brought her son to the Titled Stage Costume Shoppe to find a more cost-effective costume.
"Everything is more expensive, so I brought my son and we're trying to keep the cost down a little bit," she said.
Experts warn this Halloween could be scarier for you and your wallet. Business Attorney & Analyst Parag Amin said tariffs could double the cost of costumes, and chocolate candy could be pricier because of a global cocoa shortage.
"Prices are going to be spookily higher this year because of tariffs," he said.

Data from the National Retail Federation said per person spending will reach a record high this year, with shoppers expected to spend at least $11 more per person this Halloween.
There are some sweet ways to save.
"Sugar-only candies are going to be cheaper than candies with chocolate," said Amin. "You can also look for store brands."
Also, another way to save this Halloween is to buy early or to spread out those purchases.
Plan to get costumes and scary yard decorations ahead of time, and consider shopping at discount stores.
Neal Evans from the Tilted Stage Costume Shoppe in Raleigh says renting a costume can also save some extra cash.
"It's a little bit cheaper than actually buying a costume that you may never wear again," he said.
Some other ways to save include reusing old costumes or mixing and matching previous costumes.
