Authorities release new images in Durham shooting

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Durham authorities have released new images and details regarding a shooting that occurred last week.

On Feb. 17, a man was shot at Globe Road and Page Road. Witnesses reported that two cars stopped in the left-hand turn lane, and the driver of one vehicle fired at a grey BMW. The suspect, described as a man in his 30s wearing all-black clothing, fled on Page Road toward I-40.

The victim drove north and stopped at S. Miami Boulevard and T.W. Alexander Drive, where EMS arrived and took him to a hospital with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect vehicle has been identified as a matte black, fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro without hubcaps. The vehicle, which had no license plate at the time of the shooting, was last seen in the area of Northern Durham Parkway shortly before the incident.
