Cape Fear Valley celebrates opening of new orthopedic clinic
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- Cape Fear Valley Health is celebrating the opening of a new specialty clinic in Fayetteville.
A ribbon-cutting was held Monday for the new orthopedic spine surgery clinic off Raeford Road.
It's an all-in-one clinic for patients to receive personalized care for spinal procedures and injuries in the Sandhills.
Cape Fear Valley Health said this clinic will help doctors better serve patients who would normally have to go outside the system to get procedures.
"Being able to decompress a larger clinic. We moved Dr. Derosa and his staff over here," said Mark Cobb, president of Cape Fear Valley Medical Group. "This really has a concierge-medicine type feel. So, a very personalized experience for the patient. Very much, very much hands-on."
This new clinic will serve all eight hospitals in the Cape Fear Valley Health System across multiple counties.
