Cary man sentenced on sex charges

CARY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A Cary man has been sentenced to 50 years in a federal prison for videotaping himself having sex with a young girl.

Ike Simmons pleaded guilty in June to child porn charges.

Prosecutors say he molested a girl between 2009 and 2013.

Simmons was already a registered sex offender as a result of 2003 military court convictions.
