Crash shuts down I-40 westbound lanes near Airport Boulevard in Wake County

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- All westbound lanes on I-40 near Airport Boulevard were closed Sunday morning due to a crash.

It happened around 10:30 a.m. near Raleigh at mile marker 284.

Now, only the right shoulder is closed at Exit 284 (Airport Blvd).

The scene is expected to be clear around 12:30 p.m., according to North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
