Cumberland County sex offender arrested twice in a month due in court
CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A registered sex offender in Fayetteville has been arrested twice in a month, according to Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.
On October 7, detectives with the sex offender registration unit were conducting surveillance on a daycare at 2514 Sandhill Road, due to a tip stating that Calvin William Elliott had been on the property.
At approximately 5:55 p.m., they saw Elliott enter the property and detectives arrested and charged Elliott with sex offender on a child premises.
His first court appearance is scheduled today at 2:30 p.m.
Elliott had been previously arrested for sex offender on a child premises on September 18.
