Driver killed after losing control, hitting minivan in Holly Springs

HOLLY SPRINGS, N.C. (WTVD) -- A driver was killed after an early morning crash in Holly Springs.

It happened around midnight on Interstate 540 near Veridea Parkway.

According to State Highway Patrol, a BMW traveling north ran off the road to the left, crossed the grass median and collided with a Honda Odyssey van in the southbound lanes. Three adults and three children inside the van were taken to the hospital for their injuries.

The driver of the BMW, Isabelle Anna Cedeno, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene.
