Do's and Don'ts for Dix Park Trolls

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Dix Park is reminding visitors to be careful when visiting the troll art installations in Raleigh.

While you are encouraged to touch, hug and take pictures with the trolls, the park says they are not made for climbing or playing on except for Mother's Tail.

In all, five giant trolls by Danish artist Thomas Dambo have been installed in the park.

The trolls are built of reclaimed wood.

The installation invites visitors to think about environmental stewardship and the importance of preserving nature, according to the park.

The park is holding Troll Treks for some family fun.

They will take place on November 15 & 22 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
