Driver's lane change on I-40 causes crash, injured 4 in Wake County, NCSHP says

RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- A crash on I-40 in Wake County Thursday morning resulted in multiple injuries, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol (NCSHP).

Authorities reported that a driver attempted to exit onto Aviation Parkway from the far left lane, causing another vehicle to veer off the road and into the woods.

Four occupants of the car forced off the road were injured.
