Durham police investigate carjacking shooting on Lynn Road; 2 injured

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Durham police are investigating a carjacking that left two people injured early Sunday morning.

Officers responded around 6:10 a.m. to the 70 block of Lynn Road in reference to a reported carjacking involving a gunshot wound.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. Another man was also found with injuries police say were caused by an assault.

Both victims were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the vehicles involved in the incident have since been recovered.

Investigators have not released any information about possible suspects.
