Durham brewery shutting down, citing rising costs

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- A popular local brewery is closing its downtown Durham taproom.

Durty Bull Brewing Co. will shutter its location at 206 Broadway St. at the end of September.

The brewery's owner cited the rising cost of doing business for the decision to close.

He said the business has struggled to absorb rising costs for things such as rent and ingredients.

A Durty Bull location in Gastonia will remain open.
