RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Education leaders are taking on challenges facing public education across the country, including here in North Carolina.
Teach For America North Carolina played host to a panel Thursday evening after visiting a school in Edgecombe County. Aneesh Sohoni, national CEO of Teach For America, joined state TFA leader Robyn Fehrman, for a fireside chat on the most urgent issues, including teacher vacancies and AI in the classroom.
The group highlighted one of its newer initiatives to create a pipeline of educators through a tutoring program.
ABC11's Bianca Holman, a former corps member and educator, served as the emcee of the discussion.
