Durham's Flags for Heroes: Honor your personal hero with flag at Hub RTP

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Rotary Club of Durham is inviting the community to honor the heroes in their lives through its annual Flags for Heroes display at Hub RTP.

Now through May 29, veterans, active military members, first responders, healthcare workers, educators, or anyone considered a personal hero can be recognized by sponsoring a 10-foot American flag. Each sponsored flag includes a personalized medallion tag with the honoree's name.

The display transforms Hub RTP into a powerful public tribute while also supporting local causes. Proceeds benefit grants for local nonprofits, including veteran support programs and youth leadership development.

The flags will be on display through June 14.
