DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Former U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is set to speak at Duke University this week.
Organizers said the event will only be open to the university community Thursday.
His appearance comes amid the ongoing fallout over revelations about Buttigieg, which former Vice President Kamala Harris shares in a new memoir about her presidential campaign. She said in her book that Buttigieg topped her initial list of possible running mates.
