RALEIGH, N.C. (WTVD) -- Gov. Josh Stein is set to provide an NC Strong update on Thursday, highlighting recent investments aimed at supporting North Carolina students and teachers as the new school year gets underway.

Stein is also expected to share updates on the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles and this year's North Carolina Awards.
