2 people left with life-threatening injuries after Cumberland County car crash

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- Two people are recovering after a car crashed in Grays Creek in Cumberland County.

It happened just after 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon on Interstate 95 near the 46 mile marker northbound.

Investigators say when they got on the scene they found a car split in half.

The driver and a passenger were both rushed to the hospital with life threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
