Hungry bear rides garbage truck

LOS ALAMOS, New Mexico -- Firefighters washing their fire engine outside were shocked when a garbage truck rolled by with a bear on top in Los Alamos a few weeks back.

Video shows the hungry bear perched on the big vehicle. It's not clear how he managed to get up there.

The truck driver had the great idea of backing up to a tree, and the bear hopped off and climbed down.
