Johnston County advances to Little League Softball World Series semifinals

ARCHER LODGE, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Johnston County Little League 12U softball team is headed to the 2026 Little League Softball World Series semifinals.

Johnston County defeated Florida 5-2 on Thursday in Greenville.

Pitcher Anna-Lynn Clark threw a complete game and recorded 13 strikeouts.

The team will play its next game on Saturday, Aug. 8, at 6 p.m. A win would send Johnston County to the championship game on Sunday.

ABC11 will broadcast the game at 3 p.m.
