Police: Young boy grazed by bullet in Durham shooting

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Durham police are investigating a shooting that left a juvenile injured Friday morning.

According to police, officers responded shortly after midnight to the 2800 block of Rochelle Street after receiving a report of a gunshot wound.

When officers arrived, they found a young boy who had been grazed by a bullet. The victim was treated at the scene by EMS and later released.

Police have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

The investigation remains ongoing.
